Deputyship of Private Sector Affairs and Global Presence

​​​​​​​​​​​Deputyship of Private Sector Affairs and Global Presence works to enable the private sector to access foreign markets, supervise joint international business councils, and supervise commercial attaches abroad to enable the private sector to develop the volume of trade and investment exchange with its international partners and target markets, and remove obstacles and difficulties facing Saudi business owners abroad in coordination with the relevant government entities in order to achieve the objectives of the Kingdom's Vision 2030.

1- Supervising the development and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure transparency and aligning these policies to institutional objectives, reviewing the effectiveness and efficiency of the main operations of the Deputyship, and ensuring that the requirements are met in order to ensure their contribution to achieving objectives.

2- Manage GAFT’s relations with the private sector and Saudi Foreign business councils, ensure alignment of GAFT strategy with Private Sector views and objectives.

3- Supervising the initiatives lead by commercial attachés, which are related to enhancing communication with the private sector, and oversee CA’s and their performance.

4- Periodic review and assessment of trade policies along with private sector and providing suggestions to the Deputyship of International Organizations and Agreements based on private sector trade practices and challenges.

5- Supervising all surveys and opinion polls targeting the private sector to identify investment opportunities and kye challenges facing the private sector, and providing relevant departments within the Authority with the resulting information and data.

6- Informing the Saudi private sector of updates to trade policies, agreements, and trade remedies through workshops and various events.

7- Supervise commercial attachés, monitoring and evaluating their performance, and setting their targets and performance indicators.

8- Evaluate the conditions of commercial attachés, prepare studies for expansion, and modify the scope of geographical coverage.

9- Upskill and develop the Deputyship team members .

10- Supervising and following up on providing the necessary support to commercial attachés, the Saudi private sector, and business councils to ensure desired objectives are achieved. ​
