​​​​ ​His Excellency the Governor of the General Authority of Foreign Trade, Mr. Abdulrahman bin Ahmed Al-Harbi​, confirmed that the Founding Day is an important memory for our great country, in which we recall with pride the three centuries-old history of this great country, since its founding by Imam Muhammad Ibn Saud, passing through the establishment of the second Saudi state at the hands of  Imam Turki bin Abdullah, until the establishment of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia at the hands of King Abdulaziz bin Abdulrahman Al Saud - may God have mercy on them. Al-Harbi indicated that the honorable royal order to adopt the twenty-second day of February of each year as a day to commemorate the founding of the Saudi state, reflecting the keenness and interest of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and His Highness Crown Prince Muhammad bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud - may God preserve them - to be proud of the historical depth and rooted roots of this blessed country. We have the right to be proud and celebrate the anniversary of the foundation and our glorious history of heroism and achievements over three centuries The Founding Day remains a good memory in which we remember the journey of the struggle of imams and kings of this country to consolidate security and stability, establish justice among people, overcome difficulties and stand united, for the unity of this country his Excellency said.​
