His Excellency Dr. Majid bin Abdullah Al-Kassabi, Minister of Commerce and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the General Authority of Foreign Trade met their Excellencies the ministers and officials, during his visit to the brotherly country Oman, as a part of strengthening the relations between the two brotherly countries.

His Excellency held bilateral meetings with H.E Qais bin Mohammed Al Youssef the Minister of Commerce, Industry, and Investment Promotion, H.E Bader Al Busaidi the Foreign Minister, H.E Sultan bin Salem Al Habsi the Minister of Finance, H.E Abdullah bin Nasser Al Harassi the Minister of Information, H.E. Dr. Khamis bin Saif Al Jabri Chairman of Oman Vision 2040 Implementation Follow-up Unit, H.E Sheikh Faisal bin Abdullah Al Rawas the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and H.E. Halima Bint Rashid Al Zariah, Chairman of the Small and Medium Enterprises Development Authority.

The meetings touched on ways of strengthening relations, trade exchange, cooperation, and taking advantage of promising opportunities in the light of the Kingdom's 2030 Vision and Oman's 2040 Vision.

Dr. Al-Kassabi visited Oman Youth Center and he was briefed on several experiences during his meeting with entrepreneurs. The center aims to contribute to building a youth community that is capable of effective and efficient participation in economic and social development. Furthermore, the center intends to produce programs and initiatives, which will help develop the skills and talents of youth.

It is worth noting, that the trade and investment relations between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Oman had a great development, where the two countries gather ambitious visions – the Saudi Arabia 2030 and Oman 2040 visions  – the volume of trade exchange between the two countries reached 52.9 billion riyals in the last five years. ​​
