​​​The General Authority of Foreign Trade, represented by Trade Remedies Deputyship, held a virtual workshop to introduce The Law of Trade Remedies in International Trade, today, Wednesday, August 9, 2023.

The workshop aimed to raise awareness among those interested in The Law of Trade Remedies in International Trade by introducing the authority and its role in protecting the local industry and defending the Kingdom's exports that are subject to trade remedies procedures.

The workshop also dealt with the definition of the Saudi Law in Trade Remedies, and the impact of applying the tools of trade remedies and the appropriate mechanism to deal with the damage to the industry, in addition to receiving inquiries, and answering them.

It is worth noting that the Law of Trade Remedies in International Trade issued by Council of Ministers Resolution No. (321) dated 28/4/1444 AH, which consists of (37) regulatory articles, contributes to protecting the local industry from damage resulting from dumped and subsidized imports, and preventing the increase in imports. It enhances the competitiveness of national products and attracts qualitative investments and new industries that contribute to achieving the goals of the Kingdom's Vision 2030.  ​
