Foreign Trade participates in the third session of Trade Policy Committee in the Republic of Tunisia

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia delegation represented of the General Authority of Foreign Trade, participated in the third session of the Trade Policy Committee for the Member States of the Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia (ESCWA) in the Republic of Tunisia, which was held on 7-8 March 2023.

The committee was preceded by a regional workshop held on Monday 6 March 2023 on the use of the Arab Trade Simulator Interface Tool.

Her Excellency the Minister of Trade and Export Development of Tunisia Mrs. Kulthum Bin Rejeb opened the meeting, were the Kingdom delivered a speech in which the Kingdom thanked the Republic of Tunisia for the hospitality and the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia (ESCWA) for their support and efforts to Member States.

The most prominent Trade Policies adopted by the Kingdom in order to support the National Economy in all fields was discussed. The Kingdom renewed its thanks to ESCWA for its support to Member States, and stressed the importance of intensifying capacity building programs and national training courses especially the simulation programs, as they have a significant impact on developing the procedures of Member States.
