GAFT Announces Final Anti-Dumping Duties on Imports of Welded Stainless-Steel Pipes from the People’s Republic of China and Taiwan 29 June 2025

GAFT 29 June 2025

His Excellency Dr. Majid Al-Kassabi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Saudi General Authority of Foreign Trade, has issued a decision to impose final anti-dumping duties on imports of longitudinally welded circular pipes or tubes made of stainless steel, originating in or exported from the People’s Republic of China and Taiwan.

The decision was published in the Umm Al-Qura Official Gazette on 29 June 2025, and the final duties will be applied for a period of five years, starting 30 June 2025.

The decision also directs the Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority to impose and collect the final anti-dumping duties on the subject product at rates ranging from 6.5% to 27.3%, as detailed in the annexed table of the decision, which outlines the specific duty rates.

This decision to impose final anti-dumping duties is in accordance with the Trade Remedies Law in International Trade, which aims to protect the domestic industry from unfair trade practices in the Saudi market. The measure is based on the final findings of an investigation initiated on 2 May 2024, following a complaint submitted by the domestic industry, and conducted in line with the Trade Remedies Law and its Executive Regulations.

GAFT works to enhance and maximize the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s international trade gains, defend its interests in foreign trade, and contribute to the growth of the national economy.
