A Saudi delegation from both the public and private sectors is visiting Bosnia and Herzegovina from May 19 to 21, 2025, headed by Mr. Abdulaziz Al-Sakran, Deputy Governor for International Relations at Saudi General Authority of Foreign Trade. The delegation includes representatives from six government entities, along with several private sector companies.

The purpose of the visit is to participate in the 14th Sarajevo Business Forum, strengthen trade relations between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Bosnia and Herzegovina, explore cooperation opportunities in target sectors, attract foreign investment, enhance intergovernmental communication among participating countries, hold a Saudi Bosnian business roundtable, and sign a private sector agreement between the two countries. The program also includes visits to BH Telecom, a leading telecommunications company, and Bingo, the largest supermarket chain in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

KSA is participating in the Sarajevo Business Forum as a keynote country. The forum, held annually, focuses on attracting international investments, enhancing economic cooperation, and contributing to the development of the economies of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Eastern European countries, and it is one of the initiatives of Bosna Bank International.

The 14th edition of the Sarajevo Business Forum will address the role of government policies in supporting business growth and enabling it through technology and innovation, as well as highlight best strategic business practices in the tourism sector and their economic impact.

The 2025 forum will host over 2,000 participants from 35 countries and several international organizations and will showcase more than 200 investment opportunities.

The government delegation includes representatives from the following entities: Saudi General Authority of Foreign Trade, the Ministry of Investment, the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, the Saudi Food and Drug Authority, the Saudi Export Development Authority, the National Center for Palms and Dates, and the Federation of Saudi Chambers.

The trade volume between KSA and Bosnia and Herzegovina over the past ten years (2014–2024) has reached approximately $321 million. In 2024 alone, trade between the two countries grew by 82% compared to 2023.
