The Saudi-Dutch Business Roundtable meeting held under the chairmanship of H.E. Minister of Commerce and Chairman of the Board of Saudi General Authority of Foreign Trade Dr. Majed Al-Kassabi, H.E. Ms. Aukje de Vries Dutch Minister for Foreign Trade and Development in Riyadh, and with the participation of public and private entities.


 The meeting aimed to enhance the Saudi Dutch investment and trade partnership, explore investment opportunities, and review potential opportunities related to Saudi Arabia's World Cup 2034 Hosting. In addition, it aimed to introduce the regulations required for trade and investment in Saudi Arabia, thereby strengthening economic relations between the two sides.


Participants in the meeting included representatives from Ministry of Energy, Ministry of Investment, Ministry of Sport, Ministry of Transport and Logistics Services, The World Cup 2034 Hosting Higher Authority, Saudi Ports Authority, and several CEOs of Dutch companies.


The trade volume between the two countries during the period (2020–2024) reached approximately 36 billion dollars, with a growth rate of 3.73%. The key Saudi exports included organic chemical products, and animal or vegetable fats, oils, and greases, while the key Dutch imports were mineral products, and machinery, mechanical appliances and tools.
