The General Authority of Foreign Trade Announces the Imposition of Definitive Anti-Dumping Measures on the Imports of Cast Iron Pipes and Hollow Tubes (Ductile Iron Pipes), with Diameters from 100 mm to 1000 mm Originating in or Exported from the Republic
H.E. Dr. Majed Alkassabi, Minister of Commerce and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the General Authority for Foreign Trade, issued his decision to impose definitive Anti-Dumping measures on the imports of Cast Iron Pipes and Hollow Tubes (Ductile Iron Pipes) with diameters from 100 mm to 1000 mm and technical specifications K9 and C Class to C40, used in water networks, rainwater drainage, and sewage networks, as well as irrigation networks and fire-fighting networks, originating in or exported from the Republic of India. The decision of the imposition of the definitive measures is published on the official gazette on August 3rd, 2026. The Anti-Dumping definitive measures will be applied on the imports of the subject product for five years starting from August 4th, 2026. The aforementioned decision directs Zakat, Tax, and Customs Authority to impose and collect anti-dumping measures on the subject product in the range from 16.96% to 29.94% according to the table included in this decision which describes the rates of the measures in details.
The decision of the imposition of anti-dumping measures issued according to the Law of Trade Remedies in International Trade that aims to protect the domestic industry from unfair trade practices in the Saudi market. This decision is based on the final findings of the investigation initiated on July 23, 2025, after receiving the complaint submitted by the domestic industry, according to the Law of Trade Remedies in International Trade and its Executive Regulations.
