The General Authority of Foreign Trade Announces the Imposition of Definitive Anti-Dumping Measures on the Imports of Titanium Dioxide TiO2, used in many industries including paints, plastics, inks, and rubber from the People's Republic of China
The Chairman of the General Authority of Foreign Trade Dr. Majed Alkassabi issued his decision to impose definitive anti-dumping measures on the imports of Titanium Dioxide TiO2, used in many industries including paints, plastics, inks, and rubber originating in or exported from the People's Republic of China.
The decision of the imposition of the definitive measures is published in the official gazette on October 27, 2025. The definitive anti-dumping measures will be applied on the imports of the subject product for five years starting from October 27, 2025. The aforementioned decision directs Zakat, Tax, and Customs Authority to impose and collect anti-dumping measures on the subject product in the range from 19.39% to 45% according to the table included in this decision which describes the rates of the measures in detail.
The decision of the imposition of anti-dumping measures issued according to the Law of Trade Remedies in International Trade that aims to protect the domestic industry from unfair trade practices in the Saudi market. This decision is based on the final findings of the investigation initiated on October 09, 2024, after receiving the complaint submitted by the domestic industry, according to the Law of Trade Remedies in International Trade and its Executive Regulations.
