The General Authority of Foreign Trade Held a Workshop "Aligned with Commercial Attachés" to Support the Public and Private Sectors

The General Authority for Foreign Trade held a workshop "Aligned with the Attachés" with the commercial attaché in Istanbul, represented by the Deputyship of Private Sector Affairs and Global Presence, on Thursday, July 25, 2024, at the headquarters of the Authority in Riyadh, with the participation of the ambassador of the Kingdom to the Republic of Türkiye​, Fahad Abualnasr, other GAFT's deputies, and some related entities.


The workshop discussed the economic, investment and trade situation, reviewing the targets of the Republic of Turkey, exploring ways of cooperating, the challenges and obstacles facing the private sector, and highlighting the investment and export opportunities.


It aims to align the objectives of the Authority with its key partners, support the Saudi private sector and review the opportunities, and unite efforts among the relevant entities.


Many of government entities participated in the workshop including Ministry of Transport and Logistics, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Investment, Ministry of Tourism, Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources, Saudi Central Bank, Saudi Food and Drug Authority, Small and Medium Enterprises General Authority, Saudi Export Development Authority, Saudi Standards, Metrology and Quality Control, Saudi Fund for Development, National Center for Palm and Dates, Saudi Center for International Strategic Partnerships, National Competitiveness Center, Saudi Center for Commercial Arbitration, Quality of Life Program, Saudi Export-Import Bank, Public Investment Fund, Council of Saudi Chambers, Saudi-Turkish Business Council, and Saudi companies. 


The workshops are part of the Authority's efforts to facilitate the work of the private sector and relevant authorities through the services provided by the trade attachés and GAFT's deputyships and departments.
