Foreign Trade Opens Saudi Commercial Attaché in Republican Greece.

​Dr. Saad bin Abdulrahman Al-Ammar the Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to the Republic of Greece opened the Saudi Commercial Attaché in Greece, with the participation of H.E Mr. Abdulaziz bin Muhammad Al-Ghaith the Commercial Attaché from the General Authority of Foreign Trade, where he began his duties, on Wednesday, Dhu Al-Qa'dah 16 1443 AH, corresponding to June 15, 2022.​

The Deputy Governor of the General Authority for Foreign Trade for Private Sector Affairs and International Representation, Mishaal bin Moqbel Al-Muqbel, confirmed that the establishment of a commercial attaché in Greece is an extension to enhance the distinguished bilateral relations between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Republic of Greece, it is also a desire to expand the scope of cooperation and joint work between the two countries. The trade exchange between Saudi Arabia and Greece exceeded 5 billion riyals in 2021.

Al-Muqbil indicated that the development of bilateral trade relations is one of the contributions of opening a commercial attaché, by contributing to enable the access of Saudi exports abroad, to attract foreign investments to the Kingdom to scale up the trade exchange, and to enable commercial partnerships to reach the goals of the Kingdom's Vision 2030.

It is worth noting that the General Authority of Foreign Trade supervises commercial attachés, which are 20 existing commercial attachés.
