The General Authority of Foreign Trade Inaugurates the Saudi Commercial Attaché in the Federal Republic of Russia

​​​​ His Excellency the Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques in the Russian Federation, Mr. Abdulrahman​ bin Sulaiman Al-Ahmad, inaugurated the Saudi Commercial Attaché in Moscow on Monday, 13 Rajab 1443, corresponding to 14 February 2022, with the participation of the Commercial Attaché from the General Authority of  Foreign Trade, His Excellency Mr. Osama bin Abdul Rahman Al-Harbi, where he carried on his duties. His Excellency the Governor of the General Authority of  Foreign Trade, Mr. Abdul Rahman bin Ahmed Al-Harbi, stressed that the establishment of a commercial attaché in Moscow aims to develop the existing economic relations between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Federal Republic of Russia, and enable access to trade and investment opportunities in order to achieve the objectives of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030. Al-Harbi indicated that the establishment of the commercial attaché comes within the efforts of the authority to enhance the Kingdom's commercial presence and expansion in foreign markets through the opening of new commercial attaches. It is worth noting that the General Authority of  Foreign Trade, represented by the ​Deputyship of Private Sector Affairs and Global Presence and International Representation, is responsible for supervising commercial attachés, and the number of existing commercial attachés is 17. ​
