Saudi Arabia collaboratively with King Saud University and WTO hosts the Regional Trade Policy Course (RTPC) for the Middle East from 13 October until 5 December 2024, held for (8) weeks, with the participation of expert representatives from Middle Eastern countries.
The course aims to facilitate information exchange and enhance communication skills among government officials.
Hosting this course aligns with the Kingdom's objectives of supporting the national competencies and capacities of trade policymakers in the region, and enabling them to keep abreast of international standards and norms in the foreign trade.
WTO's selection of Saudi Arabia underscores its position as a fundamental element in promoting regional and international trade that contribute in the sustainable development in the region, building on and applying international standards, improving the business environment in the region and promoting economic stability in the Middle East.
The General Authority for Foreign Trade is working to enhance the gains of the Kingdom of International Trade, its international presence and active participation in many international organizations, to ensure the achievement of common goals and sustainable development.
