The Minister of Commerce meets the Deputy Prime Minister of Ireland

​​ ​His Excellency the Minister of Commerce, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the General Authority of Foreign Trade, Dr. Majid bin Abdullah Al-Qasabi, met with the Irish Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Enterprise, Trade and Employment Leo Varadkar, In the presence of ​Her Excellency, the Vice Minister ​of Commerce, Dr. Eman Al-Mutairi, and His Excellency the Governor of the General Authority of Foreign Trade, Mr. Abdulrahman bin Ahmed Al-Harbi, during the Irish Deputy Prime Minister’s visit, and his accompanying delegation to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. During the meeting, Al-Qasabi stressed the importance of strengthening economic ties between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Ireland, benefiting from commercial opportunities in light of the Kingdom's Vision 2030, strengthening partnership in all fields, and raising the level of trade exchange between the two countries. His Excellency welcomed the visits of businessmen to learn about promising opportunities in vital sectors, expressing the Kingdom's interest in cooperating with Irish companies, stimulating entrepreneurship and small and medium sized enterprises, investing in technology, information technology, smart industries, innovation and entrepreneurship, and partnering together to crown huge Saudi projects with success. The meeting was attended by the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Commerce for Business and Investment Abdussalam Al-Manea, and a number of officials from the Ministry of Commerce and the General Authority of​ Foreign Trade.
