About Deputyship of International Organizations and Agreements

The Deputyship is related with enhancing and maximizing the Kingdom's membership in the multilateral trading system, international trade organizations and agreements, and free trade agreements to enable the Kingdom's exports to access foreign markets and reduce the obstacles facing them,Affiliated Departments:KSA Permanent Mission to the World Trade Organization,General Department of Negotiations WTO ,General Department of International Organizations.

Missions

Representing KSA in the World Trade Organization and regional and international organizations and forums related to foreign trade, Arab, regional positions and international.
Supervising the tasks of the Saudi negotiating team and its technical teams, coordinating and approving offers, negotiating positions and topics related to WTO, free trade agreements, and bilateral, regional, and international agreements.
Reviewing KSA's trade policies and coordinating positions and policies with WTO member states.
Studying and analyzing the economic impact of the opportunities for concluding free trade agreements with countries and economic groups in coordination with the related authorities.
Contributing to raising awareness of the sectors (government and private) about the opportunities and obligations of the Kingdom within the WTO and free trade agreements.
Coordinating positions with G20 member states on topics of importance to the Kingdom To protect the Kingdom’s interests and maximize its gains.
Nominating Saudi talents to work in regional and international organizations, and coordinating with related entities in the Kingdom to participate in meetings of government experts regional and international organizations.
Monitoring and Reviewing countries positions in economic organizations to ensure the proper preparation of the Kingdom's position, protect the Kingdom's interests, and maximize its gains.
Aligning with G20 with G20 member states on topics of importance to the Kingdom to protect their interests and maximize their gains
protecting KSA's interests, maximizing its gains, and achieving the desired targets by coordinating with countries during meetings and coordinating between capitals and other international organizations.
Cooperating and preparing appropriate programs with economic organizations supervised by the Ministry of Commerce and trade-related organizations in the field of capacity building, technical support, development of trade and investment policies, as well as cooperation in preparing the necessary studies and raising knowledge of trade policies in order to achieve the Kingdom's various commercial interests and objectives and maximize their gains. In addition to studying the relevant initiatives and proposals submitted by these organizations and centers.
