Ministers of Trade, Investment of G20 To Meet Next Tuesday

Next Tuesday, the Ministers of Trade and Investment of the G20 will be holding a meeting presided by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia with the aim of promoting cooperation on the level of trade and investment policies in such a way as to contribute to an inclusive and sustainable development under COVID-19 pandemic. The Ministers will discuss the measures to be taken by the G20 to support international trade and investment in the context of the response to COVID-19, which was approved on 14 May 2020. Moreover, they will be discussing the means to support the multilateral trade system reforms and encourage competitiveness among micro, small, and medium enterprises further to promote economic diversification and international investment. Dr. Majid al-Qasabi, Minister of Commerce, and engineer Khalid al-Falah, Minister of Investment, will hold a press conference after the meeting to announce the meeting deliverables.
