Saudi Arabia's Delegation Participates in TIWG's 4th Preparatory Meeting for the G20 Trade & Investment Ministers' Meeting

The Deputy Governor of the Authority for International Organizations and Agreements, Mr. Fareed Alasaly, participates in the fourth meeting of the Trade and Investment Working Group (TIWG) in Brasília, Brazil, on October 21–22, 2024, as part of Brazil's G20 presidency.
 
The meeting aims to discuss TIWG's priorities during Brazil's presidency of the G20, such as trade and sustainable development, women's participation in international trade, sustainable growth in investment agreements, and WTO reform by strengthening the multilateral trading system.
 
The Brazilian presidency of the G20 seeks to reach consensus among member states on targeted outcomes, including the summary of priority discussions as supplements to the G20 leaders' statement and the G20 principles for the design and implementation of trade-related sustainable development measures. The working group holds several meetings to discuss principles, priorities and exchange of experiences and views of member states and invited G20 states.
