His Excellency Dr. Majid bin Abdullah Al-Qasabi, Minister of Commerce and Chairman of the board of directors of the General Authority of Foreign Trade met the Head of Government of Morocco Aziz akhnouch and six ministers in different sectors, yesterday in the Moroccan capital, Rabat. Along with His Excellency the Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques in the Kingdom of Morocco Abdullah Bin Saad Al Ghurairi.
Al-Qasabi discussed during the meeting ways of enhancing commercial and economic cooperation, mutual cooperation opportunities, empowering the private sector, and developing investments between the two countries.
During His Excellency's visit to the Kingdom of Morocco, he met Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation, and Moroccan Expatriates Nasser Bourita. Moreover, he convened bilateral meetings with Minister of Industry and Commerce Ryad Mezzour, Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries, Food, and Rural Development H.E. Mr. Mohammed SADIKI, Minister of Economic Integration, Small Enterprises, Employment and Competencies H.E. Mr.Younes Sekkouri, Minister of Economy and Finance H.E. Ms. Nadia Alaoui, and Minister of Youth, Culture, and Communication H.E. Mr. Muhammed Mehdi Bensaid.
Throughout the meeting, bilateral relations were reviewed and ways of developing them into concrete partnerships in various sectors of commerce and investment. It aims to achieve the aspirations of the leaders of the two brotherly countries.
His Excellency visited the leader of international energy, the Saudi company Acwa Power, to review the company's projects in the Kingdom of Morocco and its global projects.
These meetings are included in a four-day official visit of the Saudi government delegation to Morocco, headed by the Minister of Commerce and Chairman of the board of directors of GAFT, which included 14 government officials and private sector representatives of 62 Saudi companies.
