General Authority of Foreign Trade Participates in 65th Meeting of Trade Cooperation Committee

The General Authority of Foreign Trade will participate in the 65th meeting of the Trade Cooperation Committee on Thursday, September 14, 2023. The meeting will be held in Salalah, Oman, to enhance trade and economic relations between Gulf Cooperation Council countries.

The 65th meeting of the Trade Cooperation Committee aims to follow-up on the implementation of the Committee's resolutions for its 64th meeting and to discuss developments in the Free Trade Agreements negotiations with countries and international conglomerates, trade laws of GCC countries, and other topics of interest.

It is worth noting that the Trade Cooperation Committee was issued on October 30, 1982, and its duty is to pursue trade-related matters of the GCC countries interest. That includes developing trade exchange between GCC countries, coordinating export and import policies, and working on standardizing trade laws and systems to aid in the freedom of commercial activity of GCC citizens.
