The General Authority of Foreign Trade participated in the representation of His Excellency, the Acting Deputy Governor of the Authority's Deputyship of Private Sector Affairs and Global Presence, Mr. Fawaz bin Saad bin Rafaah, in the Saudi Agriculture Exhibition that will be held in Riyadh from October 23–26, 2023.
The exhibition's 40th session aims to enhance agricultural production and agro-industries as key components of national economic development and diversify non-oil income sources. In addition to increasing the level of agricultural production and food industries to attain self-sufficiency while maintaining the highest standards of quality and efficiency.
The deputy stated during the workshop, "The Fund's Role in Financing Saudi Foreign Agricultural Investment and the Services Provided by Participating Entities," that the role of the Authority represented by Commercial Attachés outside the Kingdom is to promote the access of Saudi exports to international markets, promote business opportunities by matching the business with the relevant authorities, contribute to attracting investments, and market the benefits of investment in the Kingdom.
It is worth noting that the General Authority of Foreign Trade is working on increasing the Kingdom's international trade gains, providing access to Saudi exports to international markets, and defending its interests in foreign trade. This contributes to its national economy through its presence on all continents and its supervision of 20 Commercial Attachés in various countries around the world.
