The Chairman of the General Authority of Foreign Trade Dr. Majed Alkassabi issued his decision to impose definitive anti-dumping measures on the imports of Longitudinally Welded Circular Cross-Section Pipes or Tubes of Stainless Steel originating in or exported from the People's Republic of China and Taiwan.
The decision of the imposition of the definitive measures is published on the official gazette on June 29, 2025. The definitive anti-dumping measures will be applied on the imports of the subject product for five years starting from June 30, 2025. The aforementioned decision directs Zakat, Tax, and Customs Authority to impose and collect anti-dumping measures on the subject product in the range from 6.5% to 27.3% according to the table included in this decision which describes the rates of the measures in details.
The decision of the imposition of anti-dumping measures issued according to the Law of Trade Remedies in International Trade that aims to protect the domestic industry from unfair trade practices in the Saudi market. This decision is based on the final findings of the investigation initiated on May 02, 2024, after receiving the complaint submitted by the domestic industry, according to the Law of Trade Remedies in International Trade and its Executive Regulations.
