The Chairman of the General Authority of Foreign Trade Dr. Majed Alkassabi issued his decision to impose definitive anti-dumping measures on imports of the Textiles or Fabrics Coated by PVC originating in/exported from the People's Republic of China and Republic of Korea.
The decision of the imposition of the definitive measures is published on the official gazette on December 16, 2024. The anti-dumping definitive measures will be applied on the imports of the subject product for five years starting from December 17, 2024. The aforementioned decision directs Zakat, Tax, and Customs Authority to impose and collect anti-dumping measures on the subject product in the range from 25.56% to 51% according to the table included in this decision which describes the rates of the measures in details.
The decision of the imposition of anti-dumping measures issued according to the Law of Trade Remedies in International Trade that aims to protect the domestic industry from unfair trade practices in the Saudi market. This decision is based on the final findings of the investigation initiated on November 30, 2023, after receiving the complaint submitted by the domestic industry, according to the Law of Trade Remedies in International Trade and its Executive Regulations.
