Saudi General Authority of Foreign Trade Participates in Saudi-Turkish Business Forum to Discover Cooperation and Partnership Between Both Countries

His Excellency the Deputy Governor of the General Authority of Foreign Trade of International Relations, Mr. Abdulaziz Al-Sakran, participated in the Saudi-Turkish business forum held in Riyadh today, September 12, 2023. In order to discover aspects of cooperation and partnerships between the two brotherly countries.

 

Al-Sakran stressed that the efforts between both countries resulted in effective and crucial partnerships, which led to the Kingdom becoming the fourth trade partner to Türkiye​ in the Middle East. Stating that the value of trade between the two countries has continued to increase since 2021 and in 2022 reached about 6 billion dollars, with a growth rate of 33% in comparison to 2021. Emphasising the opportunities and potential that will contribute to the promotion of trade cooperation and integration to increase the value of trade between both countries and achieve the aspirations of the leaders.

 

His Excellency highlighted the importance of continuing trade missions for their essential role in matching businesses. The Authority of Foreign Trade contributed by holding several meetings with officials, a Saudi-Turkish Business Forum with the attendance of more than 400 businessmen, and opening a first-of-its kind exhibition "Turk Expo". The expo was held last March with the participation of major companies.

 

It is worth noting that the Saudi General Authority of Foreign Trade aims to enhance the Kingdom's foreign trade gains and defend its interests in foreign trade fields, which will then contribute to its national economy.
